JoJo’s love for music and radio started young — she always knew this was what she was meant to do.

Early on, she was lucky enough to be mentored by a friend who worked at 2CR, who spotted her potential and gave her the kind of hands-on opportunities that are rare in today’s industry. It was there that JoJo really honed her craft and discovered the magic of connecting with listeners.

As the radio landscape changed and the big networks took over, JoJo — like many — found herself stepping away after local stations were merged and roles disappeared. But in 2015, a life-changing experience helped her rediscover what she truly loved: music and radio.

She joined Hot Radio in February 2019, bringing her trademark warmth, wit, and realness to the airwaves — and she’s never looked back since.

Now a key part of the station’s daytime lineup, JoJo brings the feel-good factor to every show — full of fun, honesty, and the kind of positivity that makes your day instantly brighter.

👉 Now That’s What I Call Music! 32 — an absolute classic full of 90s nostalgia. It might’ve been a compilation, but it kicked off a lifelong love affair with great music!

Best gig you’ve ever been to?

👉 Too many to choose from! Gatecrasher, V Festival, and Homelands all make the list — incredible memories surrounded by great music and good vibes.

Favourite artist of all time?

👉 P!nk — an incredible performer who brings power, emotion, and pure showmanship to everything she does.

Song you can’t resist singing along to?

👉 Goo Goo Dolls – Iris. It’s a song that’s carried JoJo through some dark times and still feels empowering every single time it plays.

Favourite place in BCP?

👉 Canford Cliffs Beach — peace, sea air, and a view that never fails to lift the mood.
