Presenter Lowdown - Chris Morley
Chris first joined Hot Radio back in 2017 — and he still remembers the day vividly. Mainly because it was April Fools’ Day, which somehow feels completely appropriate. Since then, he’s been the voice of Saturday mornings, and honestly, he wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Big shoutout to Karl (the former breakfast host) — if it wasn’t for him, Chris reckons he’d still be chatting away to himself in the mirror instead of on the airwaves.
For Chris, radio really is the best job ever — he gets to hang out with the best listeners, play great music, and hear all the wonderfully random stories about what people get up to on the weekend. Some of them he’s still trying to recover from hearing about!
When he’s not behind the mic, you’ll probably find Chris on stage somewhere across the country, hosting ravy bingo, DJ’ing, or just causing a bit of joyful chaos with a microphone in hand. Basically, if there’s a crowd, some music, and a reason to make people smile — Chris is there.

Always up for a laugh and a good tune — here are Chris’s quickfire picks:
First album you bought?
👉 Five – Invincible. Boyband bangers and pure nostalgia — what more do you need?
Best gig you’ve ever been to?
👉 Oasis in 2005. Absolute chaos, in the best possible way.
Favourite artist of all time?
👉 Take That — because it’s Take That. No explanation needed!
Song you can’t resist singing along to?
👉 Vanilla Ice – Ice Ice Baby. Chris has practically made a career out of this one (long story… but tune in and he’ll tell you all about it).
Favourite place in BCP?
👉 Bournemouth Pavilion. You’ll usually find Chris there catching a show — from comedians to musicals and, of course, the Christmas panto. It’s his happy place!

“Best view with the best brew… Visiting Norway and probably one of the best photos I’ve ever had taken (and that includes my wedding day!).
