Presenter Lowdown - Dan
Cheeky banter, big tunes, and non-stop energy — that’s what you’ll get from Dan every Saturday night on Hot’s House Party. He’s the guy who’ll happily throw a club banger into a throwback mix and make it sound like they were made for each other. If it keeps the party moving, it’s going in the mix.
Dan’s no stranger to the radio world either. He’s been behind the mic since he was 18, starting out online before becoming both a presenter and engineer on hospital radio. These days, he’s one of Hot Radio’s senior managers, helping run the station’s social media (with Holly as Assistant), keeping the website fresh, and tinkering with all the tech that keeps the station buzzing.
When he’s not on-air, you’ll often find him behind the decks at events and festivals across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch — bringing the party to dancefloors as well as your speakers.
As for guilty pleasures? Dan’s got a soft spot for 70s disco, and loves sneaking in a bit of Earth, Wind & Fire or Donna Summer when the moment’s right. And if Coldplay comes on — you can bet the dial’s getting cranked up to 11.

First album you bought?
π Coldplay – X&Y. Yeah, no shocker there… you know the dial’s going up to 11 whenever Coldplay comes on!
Best gig you’ve ever been to?
π Coldplay (of course). Hands down the best live show I’ve ever seen — the lights, the atmosphere, the tunes. Pure magic.
Favourite artist of all time?
π Has to be Coldplay (Bet you didn't expect that!)
Song you can’t resist singing along to?
π Probably ‘September’ by Earth, Wind & Fire — guilty pleasure vibes!
Favourite place in BCP?
π You’ll usually find me hanging out at Brass Haus or 1812 — good tunes, good people, good vibes.

This one’s from a recent Coldplay gig — no surprise there! Hands down one of my favourite live shows, and it pretty much sums up my love for big tunes and big energy.
