Ever wondered what goes on behind the mic?

Volunteering at Hot Radio or Hot Gold is your chance to be part of a loud, creative, very local radio family — and yes, it’s as fun as it sounds.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic people aged 18 or over who can commit to at least 12 months. Why? Because great radio doesn’t happen overnight, and we put real time (and love ❤️) into training our volunteers.

What could you get stuck into?

Loads, actually. Roles across the Hot family include:

• Admin & organisation (keeping things running smoothly)

• Social media & content (posts, promos, behind-the-scenes)

• Events team (out and about in the community)

• Audio editing & production (the magic behind the sound)

• Presenting & on-air support (yep — microphones included 🎙️)

Important bit (sorry, we have to say it!)

These opportunities are not short-term or work experience placements. If you’re only after something brief, this one won’t be the right fit.
